Every summer, 3rd avenue events in New Jersey bring a wave of excitement to the community, transforming the heart of town into a lively gathering spot.

This season, families can expect a lineup full of energy, including four consecutive Wednesday evenings packed with family night activities and diverse food vendors.

From 5 pm to 9 pm, 3rd Avenue between Washington and Passaic Avenues will be closed to cars, opening up the street for neighbors and visitors to mingle and enjoy live music events under the summer sky.

There’s a real sense of connection as locals greet each other, grab a bite, and watch children take part in crafts and games.

In addition to the summer festivities, the area continues to grow with new shops and cafes breathing fresh life into the business district.

September promises an art stroll along 3rd Avenue where residents can admire local artists and enjoy Italian specialties from nearby food courts.

Autumn brings playful events like pumpkin decorating and the much-anticipated witches and warlocks paddle, a quirky highlight for families.

During the holidays, an enchanting train display at the Duggan Building offers free fun for all ages, weaving nostalgia and delight throughout the community.
