The Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music is set to open on June 7 at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
This 32,000-square-foot facility will serve as a hub for preserving and celebrating American music history.
Designed by COOKFOX Architects, the center features exhibition galleries, research archives, and a state-of-the-art theater.
Exhibits will chronicle Springsteen's career and explore his creative process, alongside displays highlighting the diverse tapestry of American music.
Interactive experiences and a new documentary by director Thom Zimny will provide visitors with an immersive journey through the nation's musical heritage.
The center's mission includes dynamic public programs such as concerts, lectures, films, workshops, and conferences.
In celebration of America's 250th birthday, the center will host a two-night concert event, "Music America: The Songs that Shaped Us," on June 4 and 5 at the OceanFirst Bank Center.
Performers include Jon Bon Jovi, Jackson Browne, Rosanne Cash, Kenny Chesney, Gary Clark Jr., Dion, Dropkick Murphys, Shemekia Copeland, Valerie June, Keb' Mo', Nils Lofgren, Darlene Love, Public Enemy, David Sancious, Bruce Springsteen, Tony Trischka and Sister Sadie, Mavis Staples, Trombone Shorty and the New Breed Brass Band, Stevie Van Zandt, and Jimmie Vaughan.
Tickets for each concert will be sold separately and will go on sale at noon on April 21.
The center will also host the fourth annual American Music Honors on April 18 at Monmouth University's Pollak Theatre.
Honorees include Dionne Warwick, Patti Smith, Dr. Dre, The E Street Band, and The Doors.
Presenters include Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Iovine, Jon Landau, and Stevie Van Zandt.
Tickets for the American Music Honors will go on sale to the public online on March 18 at noon.
