Navesink Maritime Heritage Association's River Rangers Program Offers Summer Adventures for Youth

Red Bank, NJ—The Navesink Maritime Heritage Association (NMHA) is thrilled to announce that registration is still open for its acclaimed River Rangers program, now in its 21st year.

 

Designed for children aged 10 to 14, this immersive five-day experience offers a unique opportunity to explore the Navesink and Swimming Rivers through activities like paddling, swimming, fishing, and seining.

 

Participants will not only develop boating and teamwork skills but also forge new friendships and gain a deeper appreciation for the local marine environment—all while having fun.

 

The program runs weekly from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with sessions available on the following dates:

 

July 21–25

 

July 28–August 1

 

August 4–8

 

Each session is led by experienced counselors, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for all participants.

 

The cost per child per week is $300, which includes the use of a canoe, paddle, life vest, and a commemorative T-shirt.

 

To ensure a successful on-water experience, detailed information will be provided before the start date.

 

As spots are limited, interested families are encouraged to register promptly to secure their preferred week.
