💡 Answer to Trivia Question: The Spring Lake boardwalk is approximately 2 miles long (running from the north end of the beach to the south). What makes it uniquely different from virtually every other Jersey Shore boardwalk is that it is entirely non-commercial — there are no shops, concession stands, rides, arcades, or any retail of any kind on the boardwalk. It is simply a pristine paved promenade designed for walking, jogging, and enjoying the ocean view. Spring Lake has deliberately maintained this policy for well over a century, making it one of the most elegant and tranquil boardwalks anywhere on the East Coast. |
