Spring Lake events at New Jersey Shores

Experience the excitement of the beer garden and sidewalk sale

Spring Lake is gearing up for an exciting lineup of events this May, offering residents and visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the town's vibrant community spirit.

On Saturday, May 23, the annual Spring Lake 5-Mile Run will see over 12,000 runners traversing the scenic streets.

Following the race, attendees can unwind at the post-race Beer Garden, featuring live music in the downtown area.

The Beer Garden will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the last beer served at 3:30 pm.

Simultaneously, the Race Day Sidewalk Sale will take place on May 23 and 24, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering shoppers a variety of local goods and unique finds.

In addition to these festivities, the Greater Spring Lake Chamber of Commerce is hosting its inaugural Cornhole Tournament on Sunday, May 24, at 12:00 pm.

Participants and spectators alike can enjoy this friendly competition, adding to the weekend's lively atmosphere.

Looking ahead, Spring Lake has a full calendar of events to keep the community engaged throughout the summer and fall.

On June 13, the town will celebrate its Irish heritage with a festival featuring music, dancing, food, and shopping—a fun-filled day for the entire family.

July brings the Summer Nights Block Party, held on four consecutive Wednesday evenings starting July 22.

From 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, 3rd Avenue between Washington and Passaic Avenues will be closed to vehicular traffic, allowing for live music, food, and family-friendly activities.

As the seasons change, the community can look forward to the Italian Festival on September 19, featuring an Italian Specialties Food Court on Morris Avenue and music throughout the downtown area.

October 10 marks Pumpkin Patch Day, where children can decorate pumpkins at 3rd and Morris Avenues.

November 28 is Small Business Saturday, encouraging residents to support local businesses during the holiday season.

These events not only showcase the town's rich cultural tapestry but also foster a sense of community and support for local businesses.

For more information on these events and others, residents are encouraged to visit the Greater Spring Lake Chamber of Commerce's website or contact them directly.
