Excitement is building in Asbury Park for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 8, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM.

 

The festivities start at Ocean Avenue and 4th Avenue and wind through the heart of downtown, ending at Cookman Avenue and Main Street.

 

Marching bands, floats, bagpipers, scouts, and dancers will fill the streets, joined by local businesses, charities, and officials.

A grey seal pup created a scene in Harvey Cedars, New Jersey, after curling up for a nap right on Long Beach Boulevard, surprising morning commuters.

 

Alerted by a quick-thinking driver, the Harvey Cedars Police Department and Public Works moved fast to stop traffic and protect the lost seal.

 

Soon after, the Marine Mammal Stranding Center (MMSC) transported the pup to Brigantine for a full medical check.
