Movies on the Beach at New Jersey Shores

**Point Pleasant Beach** continues its cherished tradition with **Jenkinson's Boardwalk Movies on the Beach**. Every Tuesday night from June 23 through September 1, 2026, families can gather on the beach across from the aquarium to enjoy a variety of films. This year's lineup features favorites like *Lilo & Stitch*, *Grease*, and *Jurassic Park*. New this year, pre-movie trivia sessions hosted by local radio personalities will add an extra layer of fun. As always, these screenings are free and begin at dusk, weather permitting.

 

**Seaside Heights** is also hosting its annual **Movies on the Beach** series. Starting July 5, 2026, and running for eight consecutive Sundays, films will be shown at the Fremont Beach area. The selection includes a mix of classics and recent hits, ensuring there's something for everyone. Attendees are encouraged to bring beach chairs and blankets, and to arrive early to claim a good viewing spot. Screenings begin at dusk and are free to the public.

 

Further south, **Cape May City** offers its own **Movies on the Beach** series every Thursday night from July 2 through August 27, 2026. Located next to the Cape May Convention Hall at 714 Beach Avenue, the series features films like *Independence Day*, *An American Tail*, and *Top Gun*. Movies begin at dusk, and attendees are encouraged to bring beach chairs and blankets. In case of inclement weather, cancellations will be announced on Cape May City's official channels.
