Featuring an animal shelter fundraiser and a designer handbag raffle |
The Jersey Shore Animal Center is set to host its third annual pocketbook bingo fundraiser on Sunday, March 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Brick Elks Lodge, located at 2491 Hooper Avenue.
This event promises an afternoon filled with excitement, featuring ten games of bingo where participants have the chance to win designer handbags and gift baskets.
Attendees can also participate in a 50/50 raffle, adding to the day's anticipation.
Executive Director Laurie Fasinski expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event, noting the success of previous years and the community's unwavering support.
She highlighted that past donors have generously contributed high-quality handbags and gifts for the mini gift auction, enhancing the overall experience.
Fasinski emphasized that the event attracts not only avid bingo players but also individuals passionate about supporting animal welfare.
Tickets are priced at $30 per person, which includes the ten bingo games, as well as water and snacks.
Group seating is available for parties of six or more.
Tickets can be purchased online through the Jersey Shore Animal Center's website or in person at the shelter office at 185 Brick Boulevard during specified hours.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will directly benefit the rescue, care, and rehoming of abused and abandoned animals, furthering the center's mission. |
